Passing Through

The 2013 tour of Passing Through, my romantic comedy for Peapod Productions, ended in Varese, Italy. It began in Edinburgh in March, then played across Central Scotland and in Newcastle. The last UK show was a private performance at the Scottish Parliament and the play then travelled to Italy and Switzerland in June.

32 performances across the tour is the longest run for any of my plays—something I’m really proud of.

We sold out most of the venues we played in 2012 (including the Tron Theatre and the Byre) and picked up some lovely reviews along the way:

Sure to put a smile on the face of all but the hardest-hearted.

The Herald

Passing Through is full of cracking one-liners and delightful humour.

The Skinny

The writing is bright, perky, observant, with an occasional shimmer of pure conjuror’s magic.

The Scotsman

Packed with quirkiness and entertaining use of space and form.
